Creekside Architectural Photo Walk

Anthony Palmer and Valeria Carullo

12 Nov 2017

The Walk: The area of Deptford Creekside was granted conservation status in 2012 and has considerable architectural interest whether historic or contemporary and from housing to industrial. This photowalk will draw on contextual research to provide an insight on how to read this rapidly changing urban landscape and the architecture within it.  At key locations there will be opportunities to pause for photographs and the best images from the walk will be submitted for review by the Curator of Photographs at the Royal Institute of British Architects, Valeria Carullo.

The Tutor: Anthony Palmer is a photographer and film-maker working on architectural and urban landscape projects. He leads architectural photo walks and building tours for the Royal Institute of British Architects and holds an MA in Photography and Urban Cultures from Goldsmiths, University of London.

Participant's requirements: A camera and suitable outdoor clothing and walking shoes/trainers.
