Join Gill Golding for a two-hour urban landscape photography workshop near London Bridge. This workshop will include a guided walk through a fascinating area of London that’s full of surprises and contrasts. From old narrow streets whose histories can be discovered, to modern developments and skyscrapers that include the Shard, participants will encounter plenty of opportunities to practice different types of urban landscape photography. This is an outdoor workshop, so please dress wisely.

About the tutor:

Gill Golding is an urban photographer whose visual research interests lie in the field of post-industrial cities, particularly with an emphasis on regeneration, gentrification and sustainability.  Gill is a Visiting Research Fellow at Goldsmiths, University of London, the Organiser of the UrbanPhotoFest Open photography competition, Chair of London Independent Photography and Organiser of the International Urban Photography Summer School.

Participants need:

- Curiosity

- Any type of digital camera that could include a smartphone

- Warm clothing and comfortable shoes
